We are currently hiring an Asphalt Maintenance Crew Lead.  We are looking for a team player ready to join a family owned company that is set for incredible growth in the coming year. You must be ready to work hard, take responsibility for helping the company grow, while having fun and being well compensated, including performance bonuses. 

This is a Low Stress environment with small family-owned business and NO DRAMA. The person hired for this position will need to have experience or be able to demonstrate that they can learn the needed skills very quickly

Crew Lead will :

•  Supervise and and help coordinate the activities of their crew(s)
• Assist with scheduling work with the assistance of the Supervisor
• Help monitor crew(s) to ensure the quality of work meets the standards of Eager Beaver Asphalt, LLC, and the expectation of the customer
• Ensure the staff are working safely and responsibly at all times

• Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the past 3 years and be insurable
• Must have the ability to comfortably and skillfully drive a truck while towing a trailer (work truck is a 14' box truck with a trailer)
• Must be a self-starter with strong work ethic and good communication skills
• Must have experience with asphalt sealcoating, crack filling, line striping
• Must have prior experience managing one or more crews
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Stand and move for 10+ hours
• Walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch without difficulty
• Lift and/or move up to 75 lbs

•  Positive attitude and ability to encourage co-workers
• Jobsite cleaning, operating equipment and its maintenance
• Proactively lead and coach crew
• Interact with customers clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with Supervisor regarding daily/weekly schedule and needs
• Practice all safety procedures and adhering to ASI policies
• Analyze  proposals and other similar documents
• Daily job reports
• Identify and solve common construction setting obstacles
• Track material usage
• Oversee/assist with site preparation (securing lot, cleaning lot using various lot cleaning equipment)
• Use sealcoating, crack filling and line striping equipment safely, efficiently and effectively
• Repair equipment if able or notify supervisor of necessary repairs and maintenance when necessary
• Drive and help maintain company vehicles
• Oversee/assist with cleaning and maintaining machines and tools daily
• Weekend work will be required 

• Salary will be based on experience with range from $30-$50/hour
• After 6 months opportunity for 401K Matching
• Overtime available
• Bonus pay available
• Possibility of year round work
• Compressed workweek when possible

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
• 10 hour days with overtime available
• Winter may be part-time (but paid time off through unemployment until work picks up again in the spring)
